512 Digital Media Solutions (512 DMS) was born out of a shared vision between Greg and Ian: to help startups and small businesses harness the power of performance-driven digital marketing to achieve scalable growth. After years of leading digital marketing efforts at companies of all sizes—from large enterprises like Dell, Experian, LendingTree, and Abbott to fast-growing startups like Planoly, Achieve, and Dosh—we saw firsthand the challenges businesses face when trying to scale efficiently.

Ian Vaisman is a results-driven digital marketing and growth expert with over a decade of experience leading performance-driven campaigns across B2B and B2C brands. With a strong foundation in SEM, SEO, paid social, content marketing, and conversion rate optimization (CRO), Ian specializes in scaling businesses through data-driven strategies that maximize acquisition, retention, and revenue.
Throughout his career, Ian successfully managed multimillion-dollar budgets, optimized marketing funnels, and led high-performing teams in fast-paced environments. He has worked at large enterprises like Dell and Abbott, driving demand generation and performance marketing at scale. He has also led digital strategies at medium-sized companies like Keller Williams, and helped fast-growing startups like Planoly and Dosh accelerate mobile and web growth. His expertise spans diverse industries, including SaaS, fintech, social media, real estate, and healthcare. Ian takes pride in developing experimentation roadmaps and leveraging A/B testing to deliver measurable results.
With an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin, Ian combines analytical rigor with strategic execution to help businesses unlock growth opportunities. Whether it's crafting impactful ad campaigns, improving user acquisition costs, or launching new digital channels, his mission is to turn marketing investments into tangible business success.
Greg Derby
Greg is a skilled marketing professional with over 15 years of experience driving growth for some of the world's most recognized brands. He holds a bachelor's degree from UC Santa Barbara and a master's degree in International Business and Marketing from the University of Sydney. Greg began his career on the agency side, working with industry giants like Apple and Disney, before shifting his focus to fintech over the past decade. His expertise spans display advertising, affiliate marketing, search, and mobile user acquisition, with a strong emphasis on developing data-driven strategies that drive sustainable growth.
Throughout his career, Greg has successfully built and scaled multi-million-dollar media budgets and played a pivotal role in launching and expanding high-impact marketing initiatives. Notably, he spearheaded the Experian Affiliate Program from the ground up, helping to establish it as a dominant player in the industry. His ability to leverage data, optimize creatives, and refine landing pages has enabled him to maximize performance across multiple digital channels. With past leadership experience at major fintech brands such as Experian, LendingTree, and Achieve, he continues to push the boundaries of digital marketing innovation.
